Diocesan Scouting Committee dinner sponsored by Bishop Niederhauer to thank
all scout leaders, parents, youth ministers, parish priests, sisters, etc.
who are involved in any way in scouting. This year it's April 22nd
at St. John the Baptist School Multipurpose Room, Social 4:30, Dinner 5:00.
The pack or troop picks up the cost for anyone who wants to come.

SCOUT-O-RAMA |
The
annual Scout-O-Rama is at the Utah State Fair Grounds. The Cub Pack
and Boy Scout troop will have a booth on Handicap Awareness. The
Scouts have organized a demo of wheelchair hockey and an obstacle course
for wheelchairs and crutches. Family ticket is $5 and it's filled with
coupons. Scouts get in free with uniform. The kids have fun going
from booth to booth and participating in all the other activities too.

FAMILY CAMP-OUT |
Diocesan
Scouting Committee is sponsoring a diocese wide campout for all scouts
(Cubs, Boy Scouts, Brownies & Girl Scouts) at Camp Tracy. It is family
camping. Scouts need to have a parent camp with them. Only need one adult
per entire family. Starts around noon on Saturday with have activities
all afternoon, dinner, a campfire and mass that evening. Sunday morning
we have breakfast, more activities, lunch, and awards ceremony, then
home. Not restricted to one parent – two can come if they wish. $10.00
per person and everyone gets a patch. Pam Grant at 261-3106.

development course for any leaders and/or parents interested in helping
to expand the church's role in our scouting program. It is sponsored by
the Diocesan Scouting Committee and it's Friday evening through Saturday
morning. We always have fun when we put this on. Pack & Troop
covers the cost of this too.
